ChaCha used to be a search engine with guides, but now it is an SMS service that finds answers to custom questions.
ChaCha (http://www.chacha.com/) claims to be able to offer answers within a few minutes via text message. They pay 20 cents an answer to "guides" who research and answer the questions.an average guide can answer 30 questions an hour, the guide will make $6 per hour. This is less than minimum wage of the United States.even though many of the questions coming in (judging by the popular keywords) are more fluff than fact--I don't think "Angelina Jolie" is a subject anyone is getting tested on in school!

I have read a lot of bad things about being a guide for Cha-Cha,such as new american sweatshop,scam,low pay,low traffic,pranksters and the traffic drop are major problems with ChaCha and even heard of a strike among the workers. All in all, its not a place to make a lot of money. If you enjoy doing it, then it might be for you.
