The one and only time I saw a Pinecone banner here in Canada was on the MLS website-- Real Estate Multi Listing service. I applied, but was declined. They are fairly picky when seeking a particular demographic
They don't have an "open" enrollment. Once or twice a year if they need more people to take the surveys, they'll open up their registration so anyone can join.
I am on the Pine Cone Research Panel in Canada.They don't advertise for more panelists but every once in awhile they will ask us to refer names. The next time they ask for names I will let you know

If you do a Google search for "Pinecone banner", you'll find lots of forums and blogs where people tell you what pages to find the banner on.Once you find a page where the banner might be, you'll have to refresh it maybe 20-30 times before the banner is cycled through again. Once you see it, be quick, though, because once the locations are posted in forums, the banners rarely ever appear on those pages again.
